Website Development
Q: Is there a package for only 2 to 3 page web sites? A: No, we do not offer any such package. Reason is that with the amount of work involved and the content needed to build a website we found it is best to have at least four pages to start a website.
Q: If I start a website with only six pages, is it possible to add more later on? A: Absolutely! Part of designing a website is not only to see how best to organize the content on hand, but how the website can expand for future needs.
Q: How long does it take to get a website built? A: Depending on the size of the project and involvement with the client a website can be created from start to finish anywhere from two weeks to three months.
Q: Will visitors see my website while its under construction? A: Yes and No. Yes, they will be able to type in your domain name and visit your website, however while under construction only a splash page will be available until the website goes public.
Q: I do not know how to register a domain name, can I still get a website? A: Yes. We start building a website by finding the right domain name for you and going from there.
Q: How expensive is it or how do you charge to maintain a website? A: The costs of maintaining a website depends on the amount of updating you require each month. If you do not need any updates, then there is no cost to you. If there are updates, then we charge on an hourly basis. Note that for website maintenance tracking we are different from most other companies in the respect that if a job takes us 15 minutes, then you get billed for 15 minutes, not a full hour.
Graphic Design
Q: How much do you charge to design a logo/flyer/poster? A: The rate we charge for graphic design work varies as each project is unique. Some projects, such as business cards, are more consistent and therefore only require a one-time setup fee to get you going. Certain jobs, such as CD booklets or Event Programs and therefore get charge by the page.
Q: How long does it take to design a logo/flyer/poster? A: The turnaround time for design work varies by project. Most requests can be completed in a few days whereas other projects can take a couple weeks. Please keep this in mind when coming with an idea and need to have it completed by a certain deadline.
Q: What programs do you work with for designing a logo/flyer/poster? A: For any type of illustration (logos, letterhead) we use Adobe Illustrator, photography is done with Adobe Photoshop, page layout (flyers, newsletters) is managed under Adobe InDesign, and web sites are built and maintained with Adobe Dreamweaver.
Q: What if I have a logo that isn't in a format I don't recognize, can you use it? A: More than likely yes. Logos are normally saved in .ai or .eps format, which opens in Adobe Illustrator.

Q: How long does it take to print a job? Can I see a proof before you start? A: A print job varies depend on the size of the job and if any finishing (cutting, folding, etc.) is involved. We always provide a PDF proof before it is printed in case any last-minute changes are necessary. Normally a print job can be done within a three to five day turn around time.
