School Websites

Business Card
The objective was to familiarize a person with the Dreamweaver program while creating a single page business card. The business card page you see today replaced what was originally done for the class.

Travel Brochure
This project was a little more in-depth as it was necessary to create a 3 to 5 page site based off a travel or informational brochure. In this case the scenic location of Long Grove, IL was selected for the task. The main feature of this site was the creation of the image map, which was based off the map in the brochure to let everyone know where all the shops were located.

Pizzeria Menu
As the title implies, the next website had to be based off a pizza menu. Of course it was a little bit larger project since the site required to be 5 to 10 pages and had to create an order form. The form on the site does work, but is not connected or related to the actual business itself. The unique feature was the mouse over effects used in the main navigation along with the order form.

Kid's Money Web Portal
Sporting a 15 page site with multiple sections was the final challenge. The site had to involved creating a Money Portal while targeting it towards a specific age group of kids. In case you haven't guessed by the title, the site was geared towards teenagers. One of the biggest hurdles did not involve the site itself, but rather the opening page. The graphics used for the different parts of the site created a problem because of how they overlapped in comparison to the grid used to create the page and the fact that each link had its own appearance when the mouse hovered over the image. The final solution was successfully accomplished after a couple hours of tedious work was accomplished.

School Projects

Aside from hosting the websites mentioned above, the Ground Zero Test Site also hosted various school projects for easy access to instructors in order to download certain homework files. Even though the classes have been completed, it is still good to see what challenges were given and conquered during each term. Visit each section to learn more about what was done during that term.

Village of Brookfield - To say the least a huge website that provided useful information about the town to its residents as well as people who. This task was a little different in the fact a consulting job was done to acquire the service that was used in creating the site. Once completed, the site was maintained with local news coverage, image gallery of events that took place in town, and the Email Newsletter that was sent out twice a month. All this was accomplished as a voluntary service while being a member of the Brookfield Technology Committee.

Irish Times Image Gallery - All images all the time. This website is home to the pictures taken during the various events held by the Irish Times Pub in Brookfield, IL. Each image gallery has its own subsection for easy navigation through all the pictures taken. In addition, each event has its own movie that plays all of the sides with music in the background. The site also contains a few flash animations to help promote various aspects of the establishment.

Pasquale Music - Just one more aspect of promoting Jazz music for the world to enjoy. The artwork for the Mostly Bop CD is featured on Higher Learning Studios.
